Marie, thank you for your sharing your story. I have to admit, when I read the headline I was annoyed. Why would she let him do that? I've never dealt with a child with autism and had no idea this happened. I met my husbands nephew who has autism when he was already an adult. My experience with him is that he comes in to greet you with a hug and squeezes so hard you can't breathe. We laugh about it and brace ourselves whenever we see him.
